Student Affairs - Pride - Jonnie J. Owens Creating Change Scholarship Award
The Jonnie J. Owens Creating Change Scholarship is open to ALL Cal Poly Pomona students who have been catalysts for meaningful change within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional initiative and impact through their efforts to advance equity, inclusion, and visibility for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.
Criteria:
- Open to all current CPP (undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate)
- Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA (incoming freshmen are not eligible to apply)
- Must answer the additional application question
- No U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
- International students may apply
Awards each year are based on the student’s general application and supplemental responses, consisting of academic and co-curricular excellence, and essay content.
