Eng-ECE- E. James 'Skip' Perry Mentorship Endowment
The E. James “Skip” Perry Mentorship Scholarship is for continuing sophomores, juniors and seniors in the College of Engineering who are interested in pursuing a career in green technologies, SMART Grid, telecommunications, utilities, or power and energy transmission.
In order to qualify for this opportunity, you must be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more units) during Fall 2018-2019 academic year. Scholarship is renewable as long as recipients reapply annually and meets following criteria
Selection Criteria for Fall 2018:
NOTE: Award recipient must be available for mentorship with senior electric utility telecommunications engineering
- Must be majoring in electrical and computer engineering
GPA college cumulative should be greater than or equal to 2.8
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more units) for the fall semester of 2018-2019 AY
- Answer supplemental questions, In no more than 200 words discuss your professional focus (green technologies, utilities, telecommunications, etc.).
