College of Science - Kinesiology - The Anooshian Endowment for Motor Development

The Anooshian Endowment for Motor Development was established in 1986 in honor of Barney Anooshian. This scholarship is awarded yearly to the Motor Development Clinic outstanding teacher who has shown dedication and understanding to children with disabilities.

Criteria:

  • Open to undergraduates with junior or senior standing (60+ semester units completed) or graduate in Adapted Physical Education or Credential student pursuing an Adapted PE added authorization
  • Open to students in the Kinesiology and Health Promotion major
  • Cumulative GPA must be 2.5 or greater
  • Must be enrolled full-time at the time of disbursement
  • Completion of a service-learning course at the Motor Development Clinic (KIN 3460/A or equivalent)
  • Must be a resident of California
  • Answer supplemental question
