ENV - Art - The Art Department Scholarship for Diverse Voices

The Art Department Scholarship for Diverse Voices was established in 2020 to increase accessibility for students from diverse and/or socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are pursuing studies in Art, Art History, or Visual Communication Design. The goal is to increase the diversity and inclusive culture within the department. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a different student from the disciplines –Art, Art History, and Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design).

Criteria:

  • Grade level: Open to juniors (60-89 earned semester units) or seniors (90 or more earned semester units) First-time transfers admitted in Fall 2025 may apply
  • Major: Art History or Visual Communication Design
  • Minimum GPA: CPP GPA of 3.25 or higher
  • Minimum Enrollment: Must be enrolled full-time (defined as 12 units or more) during award period
  • Supplemental Requirements: Respond to supplemental essay question

The award amount may change based on available funding.
