ENV - Landscape Architecture - Chapman Forestry Foundation Scholarship
These scholarships are provided to support Landscape Architecture students from Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo who are participating in the Cal Poly Pomona Landscape Architecture Italy Program in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy in Fall 2025.
Award Period: Fall 2025
Criteria:
- Enrollment in the Landscape Architecture Italy Program as a full-time undergraduate Landscape Architecture student (BSLA) from Cal Poly Pomona
- 3.0 or higher overall GPA.
- Complete General Scholarship Application
Specific Application Requirements:
• One-page letter describing- Why do they want to take part in the Italy Program,
- Your future direction and goals within the profession, and
- The impact the scholarship would have in helping them achieve those goals.
_ No letters of recommendation or portfolio required._
Post-award requirements:
Upon notification of award, recipients must provide a thank you letter addressed to the Chapman Forestry Foundation sent by email to LA@CPP.edu by 6/1/2025. Post-award requirements include giving a public presentation about their travels (students who are graduating immediately after participating in the Italy program will need record a video presentation about their experience that is submitted to the department by April 1st, 2025).
Distribution:
Maximum of fifteen awards at $1,000 each to students enrolled in the Fall 2025 Italy Program.
Awards contingent upon approval of and participation in the Cal Poly Pomona Landscape Architecture Study Abroad Program in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy. Scholarships will not be distributed if the program is cancelled for any reason.
The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Landscape Architecture Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering and selecting the scholarship winners.
