CLASS - Michi and Walter Weglyn Endowed Scholarship for Social Justice and Peace

This scholarship is in honor to Michi and Walter Weglyn who is offering an award to continuing juniors and seniors.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be Junior or Senior
  • Open to all undergraduate majors at Cal Poly Pomona committed to Social Justice
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3
  • Maintain full-time status the entire awarding period
  • Provide one letter of recommendation from a Cal Poly Pomona faculty
  • Answere all supplemental questions
    (U.S. Citizenship and/or Legal Residency is NOT require)

Supplemental Questions
  1. In no more than 500 words clearly articulate what you have worked for in regards to social justice and peace or discuss how your student goals incorporate social justice and peace.
  2. Please upload a current resume.
  3. At the end of this current academic year, how many more units will you need to take before you can graduate?
  4. Please provide an email address of a CPP faculty who can provide a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
