College of Ag - Vet Sci - Mack H. Kennington Memorial Scholarship

Criteria:

• Open to sophomores and juniors (newly admitted first-time transfers may apply)
• Must be enrolled full-time at the time of applying
• Must be majoring in Animal Science
• Minimum Cal Poly GPA of 2.5 (All grade-point averages will be verified)
• Must be in good academic standing at the time of applying and at the time of disbursement
• Must have completed a minimum of one semester at Cal Poly Pomona (12-15 units)
• Demonstrate career goal interests in the care, management and/or promotion of livestock, poultry, and companion or exotic animals/birds. Students interested in post-harvest technology and/or associated business aspects are also encouraged to apply
• Demonstrate a good representative of the Animal & Veterinary Sciences department, as indicated by academic excellence and participation in University, College, Department, and student activities
• Answer all supplemental questions
