ENV - Art - The John C. Hall Scholarship for Art

The John C. Hall Scholarship for Art in the College of Environmental Design was created to provide scholarship support for art and art history students with the selection criteria noted below.

*Criteria: *

  • Major: Art or Art History
  • Demonstrate financial need related to the University’s annual cost of attendance. Must have FAFSA or Dream Act Application on file.
  • All class levels, with a preference for freshman, sophomore and transfer students
  • Students with military backgrounds (including those with parents or guardians who served) are encouraged to apply
  • CPP or Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be enrolled at least half-time at the time of disbursement (6 units for undergraduates)
  • A portfolio sample will also be required to be submitted by applicants for review by the Scholarship Committee
