College of Science - Kinesiology - The Anooshian Endowment for Motor Development
The Anooshian Endowment for Motor Development was established in 1986 in honor of Barney Anooshian. This scholarship is awarded yearly to the Motor Development Clinic outstanding teacher who has shown dedication and understanding to children with disabilities.
Criteria:
- Open to undergraduates with junior or senior standing (60+ semester units completed)
- Open to students in the Kinesiology and Health Promotion major
- Cumulative GPA must be 2.5 or greater
- Must be enrolled full-time at the time of disbursement
- Completion of Adapted PE Fieldwork Service Learning/Activity course through teaching in Motor Development Clinic (The department will review to ensure the following criteria, KIN 4050S/AS, has been met)
- Must be enrolled or going to enroll in the Adapted PE added authorization (this criteria will be reviewed prior to releasing the scholarship)
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application that corresponds with the award period
- Must be a resident of California
