Welcome to the Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) Bronco Scholarship Portal!

The 2026-2027 Scholarship Season is officially underway!

Application Timelines:

• General Scholarship Application Open: October 1 – Early-May
• CPP Scholarships Open: October 1 – March 2
• CSU Systemwide Application Open: Mid-January – Early-May

Future Broncos that have applied to Cal Poly Pomona and are awaiting an admission decision may log in to the portal to complete the General Scholarship Application. Please note: access to additional scholarships and personalized recommendations will become available only after you receive your official letter of acceptance.

Award Disbursement Timeline: Unless otherwise specified in the scholarship description, most scholarship awards will be applied to the upcoming academic year. Funds are typically released to student accounts 10 days prior to the first day of the awarding term(s) .

Applying is easy!

1. Click the “Sign In” button located at the top right of this page

2.  Click Sign In With Your Institution

3. Enter your BroncoName and Password 

4. Complete the General Scholarship Application

• You may save your progress anytime by clicking Save and Keep Editing

5. Click Finish and Submit when ready

6. Automatic Matching (Auto-Match): Once the General Scholarship Application is submitted, the system will automatically match you to scholarships that you qualify for based on eligibility. Auto-Match scholarships do not require submission of additional application materials

7. Explore Recommended Scholarships: Use the Recommended drop-down menu to view scholarships recommended to you based on your applicant profile. Recommended scholarships typically require submission of additional application materials (please review each scholarship description for additional details)

Additional Tips:

• Seek feedback on essay responses: Use on-campus resources such as the Learning Resource Center to solicit feedback on essay prompts.

• Plan ahead for recommendation letters: Some scholarship opportunities require letters of recommendation. You will be asked to provide the name and email address of person(s) you would like to complete the letter on your behalf.  Connect with those individuals early; and inform them of your intent to request the letter(s). You should also consider sharing additional information about yourself, or the scholarship opportunity (e.g., resume, URL to the opportunity).

• Consider reviewing our website for information and resources specific to Outside Scholarships. Additional outside scholarship opportunities can also be accessed at the top of this page by clicking on Opportunities and then selecting External.

• Monitor your CPP e-mail account often: Important updates and scholarship notifications will be sent to your CPP email throughout the application cycle don’t miss out! Be sure to check it regularly.
