The MEP Union Pacific Scholarships are awarded to SWE students who are actively participating in MEP and express interest in a future career with Union Pacific. Selection criteria for Spring 2018 Award(s):

  • Open to all engineering majors (with preference for Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
  • Open to class level: Sophomore or Junior (Eligible to transfer students)
  • Must be an active members of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
  • Must have completed the FAFSA for 2017-2018, 2018-2019
  • Must have a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.8
  • U.S. Citizens is require
  • Can demonstrate current participation in both MEP- and SWE-hosted events
  • Submit a personal statement describing participation in MEP- and SWE-related programs/activities.
