College of Ag - ABM - American Ag Credit Scholarship

The Agribusiness & Food Industry Management – Agricultural Science Department is offering multiple scholarships to undergraduates Agribusiness & Food Industry Management students who demonstrate an interest in the business functions of agricultural and food industries. The awards range from $250-$1,000. No letters of recommendation needed or requested for these scholarships.

American Ag Credit – Interested in marketing and business with a focus on agriculture, farming and/or ranching. American AgCredit is looking for one or more students who have analytical skills as well as working with people. The optimum student recipient would be interested in future employment with American AgCredit.

Criteria:

  • Open to all class levels: freshman, sophomore, junior, and seniors
  • Open to current students (first-time freshmen and first-time transfers admitted fall 2023 or spring 2024 may apply)
  • Major must be Agribusiness & Food Industry Management
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to apply and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher during the period of award
  • Must maintain full-time enrollment at the time of disbursement
  • Submit an essay of 500 words or less on what makes you unique to the Agribusiness major. If you include information about community service, be specific about the number of days or hours you worked. Include a list of all scholarships received in the last two years, if applicable.
