CLASS - GEMS - Native American Studies Award
One recipient will be awarded $300. This is a one-time award; previous recipients are not eligible.
Award Period: Fall 2023
Criteria
• For a student involved in Native American research, community service learning and/or on-campus work with Native American communities.
• This scholarship is open to GEMS majors and/or Native American Studies Minors.
• Grade level: all years (freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior)
• Seniors must be enrolled in Fall 2023.
• Must be considered full-time at the time of application
• A minimum GEMS GPA of 3.0 is required at the time of applying
• Submit a one-page essay, where the student demonstrates involvement in Native American research, community service learning and/or on-campus work with Native American communities.
Selection Process:
• The awardee will hold a 3.0 GPA. The student must be involved in Native American research, community service learning and/or on-campus work with Native American communities. The EWS Scholarship Committee will determine the recipient based on criteria.
