Alumni Association - Black Alumni & Friends Scholarship

This scholarship award will be designated for students who have contributed to the advancement of African/Black people in the diaspora.

Award Period: 2023-2024

Scholarship Amount: $1,250

Criteria:

  • Minimum GPA:
    - Incoming Freshmen must have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
    - Transfer students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or greater
    - Continuing CPP students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
  • Enrollment: Full time at the time of disbursement (12+ units for undergrad or 6+ units for grad)
  • College/Major: Open to all majors
  • Grade level: open to undergraduate and graduate
    - Open to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and continuing students
  • Open to international students
  • Other requirements:
    - Answer supplemental question
    - Two letters of recommendation
