CEIS - Liberal Studies - Stephen Bryant Scholarship

This scholarship is for continuing Liberal Studies majors. Dr. Stephen Bryant, a previous chair of the Liberal Studies Department, was a biologist by training, a passionate naturalist, wilderness rescue team member, and a musician. Dr. Bryant exemplified how one’s life purpose can combine science and the humanities—an interdisciplinary perspective—that includes community engagement. Accordingly, this scholarship supports any Liberal Studies major whose academic and career goals intend to use the combined power of science with other disciplinary knowledge to serve society’s betterment.
