CLASS - Political Sci - Bruce E Wilson Memorial Scholarship

The 2023-2024 Bruce E. Wilson scholarship will be given to a student who is majoring in political science at Cal Poly Pomona. The scholarship is a tribute to one of the founding members of the Political Science Department, whose ideas, enterprise, and labors should always be remembered. Professor Wilson was the chief driving force behind both the founding and the first years of the Department’s development.

Award Period: 2023-2024

Criteria:

• Must be a Political Science Major
• Must be enrolled in classes for Fall 2023 (this will be confirmed before scholarship funds are disbursed before the start of 2023-2024)
• Must demonstrate financial need as determined by 2023-2024 FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application
• Preference will be given to students who were not given a department scholarship in previous years
