LFSSA Marquez Familia Graduate Scholarship

The Latino Faculty Staff Student Association (LFSSA) Marquez Familia Graduate Scholarship is for current Cal Poly Pomona students who plan to attend a graduate/professional program for the 2020-2021 academic year. Essays should be personal and heartfelt. Applicants should take this opportunity to demonstrate their writing skills and speak directly to the scholarship committee; be authentic.

Please note, students will be notified Spring 2020, if selected as the scholarship recipient. Award will be entered into the scholarship recipient’s account during Fall 2020 / Spring 2021.


  • Must have a cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher
  • Must have applied to or been accepted into a Graduate/Professional program at CPP or other campuses outside of CPP for 2020-2021 (preference will be given to students who have been accepted into the graduate program)
  • Answer all supplemental questions after completing your general application

Note: Recipient must be accepted into a graduate program for funds to be awarded. Proof of admissions/ admissions letter will be required at the time of awarding the scholarship.
